There's something to be said for just taking them anyway and figuring out a way to make it work: I've seen people who honestly refuse to think outside the fixed box they have in their minds, and who will continue to spam thing like

"LFG need ranger, monk"

for HOURS... at times, even when there are only two other people around (neither of whom is a ranger or a monk).

So you know, it works both ways.

player's who just should not tank in ab , just saw a rt/r (ancestral land's map) try and take a shrine with 5 people defending it , me and other teamate pulled back and watched the inevitable occur . player died and then rage quit , my toon just laughed and i nearly fell of my chair in hysteric's thinking " another fool " if i'm gonna take on a shrine i at least check out what i'm up against . if i can't do it , then i help teamate's out to capture another shrine . nuff said

You could have said "when people talk shit in ab when they kill you", but by saying "took him and x friends 5 mins to take me down" reflects a lack of understanding of pvp imo- obviously the warriors might have sucked (no interrupt/kid) but you were probably running aura of lich/whatever/mystic regen which makes you pretty solid vs. melee.

Can't remember the time of completing we got in my alliance, but last time i was on paragon, there where 2 other alliance members and the rest where heroes including gwen. Also took a hybrid monk and a resto Rt as our support for a change.

FoW and UW are both easy yet seem to attract the most people i hate so i guess we can add to the list people who after being told not to get a quest go ahead and get it anyway now.

Or just people who don't listen in general.

lol, I can see both sides of this. I hate pug leaders that stand around town for ages spamming "GLF Monk then we go!!".

These groups eventually disband before ever starting.

On the other hand, sometimes there are times when you need to fulfill a specific role and another class just won't work. In those cases it's best to wait for that role rather than compromising. I joined a pug for Nahpui Quarter on my Ele. The team had 2 monks, 2 eles, a Rit, a Sin and a Necro.

The leader asked what should we get for the last slot. Well we had no melee, so the general consensus was to get a tank. We start asking for a tank in local chat. 2 Sins self-invite and we decline. After 5 minutes of looking a ranger whispers to join. The leader asks if we should take him, and I said he could probably work if he can pull. Well the leader whispers back to the ranger and asks if he can pull. His response: "What does pull mean?" We declined and found a warrior soon enough.

Another time I was pugging Gate of Pain. (Note: Never pug Gate of Pain). A group was spamming: "Glf more 4/8". My ele joined and I noticed that the group was 3 Warriors and a Dervish. Very quickly, more invites popped up and the leader quickly accepted 2 Assassins and a ranger. (Anyone spot the problem yet?)

So now we have 3 Warriors, 1 Dervish, 1 Ele, 2 Assassins and a ranger for Gate of Pain.

Me: Uh, wait. We have no monks!
Leader: So? Monks suck!
Ranger: Shut up. We'll be fine.
Assassin 1: GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO!!!!!!
Assassin 2: I don't need no ----ing monk. I'm leet!!!!
Me: We need monks.
Assassin 1: Go! GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Leader: everyone ready. I'm going!
Me: Uh, what about Dunky? You need monks.
Leader: You're a retard! Heroes suck. I'm going.
Me: ROFL, none of you have ever done this mission before I assume?

You can equip it on your heroes if its customised...unless it's the hero of another character you're talking about. if you have an amazing weapon you are dependent on for damage and use a lot, then you customise it. but like you said - each to his own.

Then whats the point in buying the weapon in the first place other than to show off? knowlingly reducing your damage capabilities for a weapon skin is a waste of the weapon.

Yeah, I meant Heroes on other Characters as they're obviously equippable on your own seems hero weapons are customised for you. I don't customise valuable weapons myself, that's what I use greens for seems they pretty much don't sell much nowadays anyway. Then if I want to sell, something like let's say a Tormented weapon for arguements sake at a later date I can do.

I don't get that one either. Why use a non-customized weapon and deprive yourself of an extra 20% damage?

If you're only concerned with collecting or selling a wep, I understand not customizing it - but why use it?

OP - I don't have the time or energy to hate people over the way they play a video game. However, the following types do annoy me:

Persistent beggars

People with diarrhea of the mouth

Bot users

Anyone who complains ingame that they're bored. Two words: log out.

Although I do agree with some of what you have stated...for the most part i strongly disagree.

Net slang - Agreed, very annoying.

Grammar Lacking - ...not really something to get worked up about...

Hagglers - Disagreed...i go very far with haggling...testing somone's desperation is something i take pride in. I'll make sure i won't trade with you any time soon.

Beggars - If you dislike them so much...there is the local chat filter sitting right there...

Guild Chat - See above response.

Manners - I am deeply sorry if i won't have a cup of tea with you while we chat about our progress and accumulated wealth over the years - but i am the type of person you "hate". I say such things like "storage" to indicate that i just want to get down to business, buy the item and say goodbye. Those that strictly get the trade over quickly are usually given a bonus by me (ie. something petty like 500 gp - I'd make it 1K just so i dont have to type in 500gp, i am rather busy doing other things :\)

PVP Noobs - Agreed - i hate them, but the local chat filter is right there

Donations - I'm in a loving guild some would say

This happened some time ago, so I dont remember the exact words.

I was standing in Hell's Precipe and I was a D/Mo. Getting an invite by a W/Mo with 7 members already. The party was full with Warriors, Dervishes and Rangers, but neither monk or ritualist.
I thought by myself, this should be fun and I entered the party. The partyleader quickly asked if we all were ready. I asked if we didnt need monks, to which the leader replied. Monks? We already have 6 monks, we dont need more (most of the players had secondary monk classes)
So we entered the mission, pretty much most got slaughtered at the first group, except for me, since I was the only one with 6 selfhealing and defensive skills.

Hmm on second thought, people like these dont bother me too much, I have a good laugh on their cost. But to think these people sometimes manage to get into my groups... -.-

I also hate those players that random invite anybody in towns (except AB, in which it is ok). I often accept them, just to kick them seconds later without telling why.
